Anointing of the Sick/Last Rites

The anointing of the sick is administered to bring spiritual and even physical strength during an illness, especially near the time of death. Please do not wait until death is imminent! If you or your family member has a serious illness, or will receive a serious medical procedure such as surgery, or someone is in the last weeks or months of life, please call the office to arrange the Sacrament of the Sick as soon as possible. A person will receive the most benefits from this if they are conscious and able to Confess to the priest and receive Communion (Viaticum).
